About the Centre
The Eventide Home, formally the Niagara Falls General Hospital was purchased by The Salvation Army in 1958 and was renovated and opened January 16th 1960 to provide care for ambulatory aged men and women. During 1982 -1985 The Salvation Army began renovating once again this time taking down the building and building the current building with the opening and dedication on July 4th 1984 and full completion of the current facility in 1985.
