About the Centre
The Regional Municipality of Durham’s four long-term care homes are accredited. The Ministry’s Fixing Long Term Care Act (FLTCA), 2021 regulates them.
Each home area has its own dining room, lounge area, activity room, nurses’ station, and balcony overlooking our landscape and gardens.
We encourage regular visits from family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to participate in our social programs, Family Council and resident care conferences. There are no restricted visiting hours. However, we ask visitors to check with staff if they want to visit between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.
