About the Centre
Caressant Care Cobden was opened in July 2000 and this Nursing Home became one of the first built to the New Design Standards set out by the Ministry Long Term Care.
We have 64 licensed long-term care beds which are standard (2 people in a divided room) or private with an ensuite bathroom. Residents now live in their own “Home” of 32 residents. Each Unit has a dining room, activity/lounge areas, etc. There is also a large activity room for all residents to join together for events as well as a Chapel for the use of residents and families. Activities range from crafts, bingo, get fit, bible study and birthday parties. We also host outside entertainment such as local bands, speakers and other groups in the Cobden area.
